Back to the skates, again :-)

Been another busy week at work. Still working on my next pair of socks, they should be done by Saturday, just in time for my knitting class at the LYS to learn Continental Knitting... I am really excited!!!

This week, I have gone back to the serious training on the figure skates. At my age (over 25... Hee-Hee), I am an adult competitor, so I try to spend 3 - 5 days per week on the ice working on jumps and spins. I am back training with my coach, Kevin, back at "Our Lady of the Outpost" (local joke). My skates are FINALLY broken in. I am going to take them out on the ice today to see if I need the left skate punched out on the side or if the heat moulding was enough to make the skates more comfortable. My goal for this year is to enter 1 - 2 competitions and possibly take the pre-bronze MIF and Freestyle tests. Who knows? :-)
