I went back to work today thinking I had beat the creeping crud.... Yeahrightsurewhatever. By noon, I felt like someone had run over me with a freaking truck... I am still totally exhausted. I feel better than yesterday, though. Hopefully by Friday I will be back to 100%. Until then? Rest, lots of fluids and knitting...Now, this is one from the archives... Our fur kid pictured here is Dust Bunny (can anyone guess why he was named this???) This was when we first brought him home. He was small enough to fit totally in the palm of both hands placed together... Has he changed at all? You will have to wait for another episode...
I am still working on the socks and hubby's scarf! I have made it through the first 2 skeins of yarn, only 4 to go until it is finished!
I found out at work today that I am starting a new position in my department. It will still be engineering, but the change will remove my current equipment responsibilities and I will be more of a process troubleshooter. This change sounds great and I am really excited!!! I need to get a start on the brag sheet tomorrow, the first revision is due to the boss on Wednesday...
Tomorrow is also Stitch and Bitch night!!! I am really excited! It will be fun to see everyone again! I don't care how bad my ass is dragging, if I am well enough to go to work (and no longer contagious), then I am well enough to hit SnB!!!
